After wowing us all Summer long with her endless collection of floral midi dresses and cropped pants, we thought it would be back to business as usual for the Duchess of Cambridge come Fall (and by that, we mean statement coats and knee-high boots). But it looks like Kate has no intention of turning her back on the more modern trends she embraced during the warmer weather. On Wednesday, she paid a visit to the Natural History Museum in London, and she did so sporting a look that’s instantly going to the top of our Autumn inspiration boards.
Kate’s passion for high-waisted, wide-legged cropped pants continued as she slipped into a particularly pretty olive green pair by Jigsaw. She teamed them with a $50 burgundy sweater by UK high street brand Warehouse and kept the rich deep red color going to her accessories, finishing the look with a pair of buckled, block-heel shoes and a quilted Chanel handbag. The mix of seasonal colors and perfectly pitched accessories really makes this look stand out, and we have to say, we think it’s one of her best. Keep reading to take a closer look.
